Just want to say Avon police have to be the worst police ive ever known.. Get this.. My dads' car got stolen last night at 3 in the morning right in front of their house. The person hot wired the car and didn't get far cause it stauld out two streets away. My dad got up for work and reported it stolen at 6 oclock.. The Stupid Avon police gave him a ticket for parking illegaly at 8.You would think the officer would have ran the plates and found out it was stolen but all he cared about was writing that ticket,then when my parents called to tell them it had been stolen and it wasn't them the police officer told them to bad its already in the system and they would have to go to court or they can wait for the chief to call them. Another thing is the police said they drove by at 3 and saw a man walking away from the car and questioned him but then let the thief go cause they said they didn't have enough evidence.. This is not the only stupid thing they have done two years ago i got beat up by a person in my own house and they let him go and told me that it didnt matter if i pressed charges cause ity wouldn't stick.. I think Avon needs new police force they never protect and serve.they could care less.Worst police force ever!!!!!!!
