Charles "Charlie" Robert Meier, 51, of Avon Lake, died May 30. Charlie was a skilled machinist at Western Enterprise for 30 years and a part-time trainer in the gym at Avon Lake High School.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain.
Services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 9, at Avon Lake United Church of Christ, 32801 Electric Blvd.
