(Avon Lake)- Kennedy Marketing Solutions, based in Avon Lake, was awarded a Silver Rock award for its work on Common Ground WaterWorks campaign from the Greater Cleveland Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) at second annual PRSA Cleveland Rocks award ceremony on December 3, 2010. The Rocks Awards recognizes public relations professionals who demonstrate excellence in the planning and execution of a public relations strategy. Eight local agencies, two corporations and a non-profit organization were recognized with awards presented in 20 categories.

Kennedy Marketing Solutions and the Common Ground team developed a high-visibility strategy to promote Common Ground's campaign for a $250,000 Pepsi Refresh Grant. The project was successful in its goals to create exposure and build momentum for the non-profit located in Oberlin.
