$220,000 Avon Home, One Other Up for Sheriff's Sale

Two Avon homes head to sheriff's sale Jan. 16

Two Avon homes in foreclosure are up for sheriff's sales this week, according to the Lorain County Sheriff's website.  No Avon Lake homes are up for a sheriff’s sale this week.

Sheriff's Sales are each Wednesday when scheduled.  Starting time is 10:15 a.m. at the County Administration building, fourth floor, 226 Middle Ave. in Elyria.

This week’s sale in on Wednesday, Jan. 16. 

2245 Eagles Nest Circle, Avon, appraised at  $222,000; starting bid at $148,000

2010 Doovys Street, Avon, appraised at $81,000; starting bid at $54,000

I look up real estate and foreclosures all the time. I personally find these articles appalling. It seems like a form of airing others dirty laundry. I don't find it newsworthy.
