Before rushing out to bid on any Sherrif Sale, make sure you are knowledgeable about the process. You need a certified check to seal the transaction, know how you will pay for it, and be ready to close on the transaction within 30 days. Definitely understand what liens you WILL be assuming on the property and costs involved.

Kathleen - It's kinda hard to blame this one on Obama. The house on Drummond was bough in 1987 for $54,000.00 It was sold to Atlantic mortgage and Investment corporation in 1999 and refinanced 12 times all 6 years prior to Obama getting elected for his first term. I'm pretty sure this one could be chalked up to shady financing. I'm betting this couple could have used some government regulations at their bank. It is very sad for these people how corporations and private financial companies took advantage of them. I for one am glad there is some new government regulation to keep the market from robbing every American that is fortunate enough to own a home. Good luck to the Crawford's I hope our big government can protect them from the vultures of business better next time.
