Alexis Taylor, 18, of Avon, died suddenly on March 8 at Mercy Hospital in Lorain.

Taylor was a 2011 graduate of Avon High School. She was working for 42nd Street Pizza.

An active young woman, Taylor enjoyed exercising, dancing, music, singing and spending time with her nephew, Tyler.

Taylor is survived by her father, Derrick Taylor, of Fairview Park; mother Bridget House of Avon; sister Amanda M. Taylor; nephew Tyler; paternal grandparents Bruce Taylor and Diana Wahter; maternal grandparents John House Jr.  (Wanda) and Diane House; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by grandfather Eric Wahter, uncle Tim House and grandfather Joseph Parker.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 12, at Busch Funeral Home.

A private family service will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, at Busch Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.
