Local Author Visit

Do you enjoy military history?  Author, Avon Lake resident and West Point graduate, Clyde Cocke will talk about his debut non-fiction book, Pass in Review on Tuesday, April 24 at 7 p.m. Pass in Review is a behind-the-scenes look at the United States Military Academy, exemplified by its motto of Duty, Honor, Country.  Learn about the men and women who make up the Long Gray Line, myths of the Academy and the evolution of the cadet experience.  Copies of Pass in Review will be available for purchase and author signing.

Avon Lake Public Library and the City of Avon Lake Parks and Recreation department are hosting a special day to celebrate the senior residents in our community.  Join us Wednesday, May 2 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. for an afternoon filled with fun, food, and information, and it’s all FREE!
