Avon East Elementary School students gave their parents another reason to have the camera batteries charged as they performed their holiday concert Tuesday night in the Avon High School Auditorium.

The children performed a variety of holiday songs, including "Children, Go Where I Send Thee," "Festival of Lights," "Jingle Bells," "Do Na Nobis Pacem," "Christmas Island" and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas."

Several students also performed piano solos.
