Avon High School plays Trotwood-Madison for the OHSAA Division II state football championship at 7 p.m. Friday in Massillon.

A pep rally was held for the Eagles Thursday night at Avon Stadium at Avon Middle School.

Everyone from the mayor to the police and fire chiefs to students and parents to alumni came out to show their support.

Go, Eagles!
