Traffic changes and detours are coming again to the Nagel Road area north of Interstate 90 as work related to the new interchange continues.

Don Damyanic, the city's project manager for the interchange project, said that Nagel Road will be reopened on May 29 to allow access again to the Richard E. Jacobs Health Center's Nagel Road entrance.

Chester Road just to the west of the intersection with Nagel Road, and Just Imagine Drive just to the east of Nagel Road, will be closed for construction.

Drivers trying to go from Nagel Road to Chester Road can use Lear Industrial Parkway.

A temporary bypass road connecting Nagel Road and Just Imagine Drive has been built.

Damyanic reiterated that, for the safety of workers on the project, that, unless you are going to one of the businesses in the area, please avoid driving there.
