Coming Soon: Where's Your Favorite ...?
Here's your chance to recommend the best places in town to get your favorite things.
We know you have them in your brain: Those favorite shops you frequent again and again. The restaurants you recommend to your friends. The stores with great customer service or unusual offerings.
Well, here's your chance to tell the world.
Beginning Feb. 27, we'll be asking for your recommendation on the best places in town for everything from burgers to car repair.
With your help, we'll put a list together of nominees. Then you can 'vote' for your favorite by leaving a review on the business's directory listing on Patch Places. The winner will be determined by the Patch local editor, based in large part on the reviews. And be nice: we'll only consider positive reviews in making our decision.
The first favorite we want to know about is .... hamburgers! Who's serving up the best burger in town? Three that come to mind are Rush Inn, Mulligan's and Two Bucks.
But what do you think? Add your nomination in the comment section below. And come back to Avon Patch next week to review your favorite burger!

I know it's a chain and the package is formulaic, but for me, nobody beats Five Guys! The music, the general ambiance, the peanuts, the friendly staff with lots of local kids (yay Brandi!) -- but, most of all, the meat! Love their choice of packages. Plus, they give you enough fries to feed a platoon! And, did I mention the free peanuts?

the sliders served up at Two Bucks Avon are a must have! At two bucks a burger, their portion size leaves enough room for 3, and you can "mix & match"! I highly recommand the black & blue slider, the cajun aioli is out of this world. Don't forget to order a basket of handcut sage & garlic french fries...(which are also perfect for dipping in to the cajun aioli). I can't wait to try the Buckin' Burger which will be available on their Spring Menu. Two Bucks for the win!
