The calendar may say January, but summer is coming. Really.

And you can plan a bit of it for the baseball player in your family by signing them up for Lake Erie Crushers Youth Baseball Camps, four of which will be held this summer at All Pro Freight Stadium in Avon.

Participants will receive instruction and guidance from Crushers players. They'll also get a camp t-shirt, a Crushers braided necklace, and a general admission voucher for a 2012 home game.

Dates are June 12-13, June 18-19, June 27-28 and July 30-31. Camp will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day.
