Employees at Fairfield Inn on Colorado Avenue discovered a barefoot, confused-acting woman sitting in the lobby on May 9.
They told Avon police she may have been intoxicated in some way.
She didn’t have luggage, or reservations, but insisted her grandfather was the owner of the hotel chain. She was told to leave, so she put on her shoes and went over to McDonald’s.
The woman came back a while later, and police took her to Haven Center in Lorain.
