Franklin J. Romes, 78, passed away on Aug. 7, 2012. He was born on Sept. 14, 1933.

Franklin, of Avon Lake, was the husband of Joanne (nee Burris); dear father of Diane Scheutzow (Rick), Franklin J. Jr., Margaret Ortiz, Debbie Lynch (late Kevin), Carol Turner (Matt), Chantal Monet, Stephanie Waltjen (Scott), and the late Joe and Jennie Romes as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, OH on Wednesday, Aug. 15 at 2 p.m.
