The city of Avon is decking out in purple and gold as the high school football team continues in the playoffs against Toledo Central Catholic Friday in the OHSAA Regional Final at Clyde High School.

The message is clear on the city's gazebo in the French Creek District on Detroit Road. A sign in front of the message is even clearer: "11 Players, 1 Heart."

Avon beat CCHS in the second round of the playoffs last year, 49-28.
