Hundreds turned out for the second Avon Lake Child Safe Community Day at the high school March 25. Attendeees were treated to an Easter egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, ice cream eating contest and martial arts demonstrations, courtesy of Jeff Ellis International Karate School.
Children also learned about "stranger danger" and the Avon Lake Police Departmentprovided Kidz ID cards
