Having finally received voter approval for a new middle school, the Avon Local School District will be opening up plans for the new school on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. in the current middle school cafeteria. 

The purpose of this meeting is to provide an update on the middle school project and give community members the opportunity to make comments and suggestions.

 All community members are welcome to participate. 

According to a memo put out by the district, they are in the beginning stages of the process working on the overall floor plan design. 

The next phase is design development that will focus on what features will be on the inside of the building. 

 The district intends to have similar occasional sessions through the building process to keep the community informed

Community input will be welcome.

 The short presentation will be followed by an open question and answer session.
