Lake Erie Crushers Have Plan For Baseball Lovers

Fans can make Valentine's Day a special one

Avon's professional baseball team, the Lake Erie Crushers, is giving fans a chance to really score.

The baseball season doesn't begin for a few month, but the team has a heart-warming plan they think fans will cozy up to now. It's a special Valentine’s Day offer.

For just $45, Stomper, the Crusher’s mascot, will deliver a dozen red roses from The Hen ‘n the Ivy in Avon, two 2011 home box ticket vouchers, and a special message to your loved one on Valentine’s Day.

“The Crushers are excited to present this special offer to the community," said Crushers general manager Ryan Gates in a statement issued by the team. "Valentine’s Day is the perfect day to show your loved one how special they are to you.  We believe you can make this Valentine’s Day one to remember by having Stomper show up with a beautiful bouquet of red roses and Valentine wishes."

Only 25  packages are available, so the Crushers recommend you call Amy Focareto at the team's offices at 440-934-3636 to reserve your special greeting. Stomper will hand-deliver the Valentine’s Day gifts in a dashing tuxedo, provided by American Commodore Tuxedo.

The home box ticket vouchers are valid for any game during the 2011 Crushers season. They will be even more valuable if used to attend the Valentine’s Day themed game on June 14, when the ticket stubs are eligible to win a special promotion.
