- Avon's city council meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall. Council will vote on reappropriations to get repairs started on the light towers at All Pro Freight Stadium, and moving forward with police and fire levies.
- If you're just not in the mood for cooking on Tuesday, you can skip the chore and help out Avon High's After Prom Committee by picking up dinnerat Chipotle between 5 and 8 p.m. Bring the coupon attached with the event listing, and 50 percent of the proceeds will go to the After Prom Committee.

- Avon High's boys and girls basketball teams host neighboring North Ridgeville this week. The boys play at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the girls at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
