Lois M. Kacur, of Avon, passed away on Nov.  28, 2012. She was 97. Lois was born on Nov. 19,  1915.

She was a graduate of Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1939. During her career, she worked at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, Amherst Hospital and Elyria Memorial Hospital. Lois was a member of Christian Temple, Disciples of Christ and the Avon Lake Women's Chorus.

She is  survived by a son David L. Kacur, grandchildren, brother and sisters. She was preceded in death by husband Michael, daughter Ellen Marie; sons Michael Brian and Barton Winslow.

Visitation is Monday, Dec. 3 from noon – 1 p.m. at Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Rd., Avon. A funeral service will follow at Busch Funeral Home from 1 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Interment is Dec. 3 from 2 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. at Resthaven Memory Gardens,
3700 Center Rd. Avon, 44011.
