Poor Belle has reason to be sad.

The eight-year-old female tabby had lived almost her entire life in a happy home. But that came to an end a few weeks ago when her owner's landlord said that two of the four cats in the home would have to go.

Belle and another cat, Kaci, were given up to Love-A-Stray. The transition has been difficult for Belle, who is very unhappy about living in a cage.

Belle is affectionate and sociable, and has gotten on well with other cats. She is declawed on her front paws.
