Love-A-Stray Cat Ivan is a Strong, Brave Boy
Ivan survives injury, amputation and is ready for a new home.
Ivan may be missing a leg, but he's not missing any heart.
The young orange cat, who had been hanging around a construction site in Avon earlier this year, returned to the site after several weeks away with a gravely injured right front leg. One of the construction workers called Avon's animal control officer, who brought Ivan to Love-A-Stray's Avon shelter.
Love-A-Stray got Ivan to an area veterinarian, who amputated Ivan's injured leg. Love-A-Stray picked up the cost of the surgery.
Ivan has fully recovered from his surgery and is ready for adoption.
If you're interested in Ivan, or would like to see other cats and kittens available for adoption, contact Love-A-Stray through its website. You can also donate money to help cover the costs of spaying/neutering cats, and health care like that given to Ivan.
