Make Under 51K Per Year? Get Your Taxes Done For Free
If you made under $51,000 in 2012 you can have your taxes prepared for free, courtesy of the Lorain Public Library System's Main Library.
Volunteers from the Lorain County Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition (EITC) will provide this free service for federal and state income tax filing at the main branch in Lorain.
The Earned Income Tax Credit is a federal tax credit for low- to moderate-income workers. This credit can be worth up to $475 for an individual and $5,891 for a worker with three or more qualifying children.

- Saturdays, February 2 and 9 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Tuesdays, February 5, 12, 19 and 26; March 5, 12, 19 and 26; April 2 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Wednesdays, Feb. 6, 20 and 27; March 6, 13, 20 and 27; April 3 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, Feb. 13 from 1 p.m – 6 p.m.
