From the Avon Police blotters.

On Oct. 29 at 10:59 p.m. police received a call  Oct. 29 from a person in the JCPenney parking lot who saw a male in the lot with a gun just before 11 p.m. on Oct. 29.

The caller put a woman on the phone who told police a black man in a grey sweatshirt and jeans had told her in a near whisper  to “give it all to me.”

The suspect, also described as having loose jeans and a goatee, was carrying a black weapon and ran southbound from the store.

The victim told police she gave the man all her money.

Police searched the area, including numerous local businesses but could not locate the suspect.
