Events to Feature New Romney TV Commercials Airing Across State

Mandel is the 2012 Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate. He will face incumbent Democrat Sherrod Brown in the November General Election.

Republican National Committee – in conjunction with Romney for President and the Ohio Republican Party– will hold seven Buckeye Blitz kick off events at Victory Centers, including Polaris, Kenwood, Steubenville, Beavercreek, Avon Lake, Wooster and Ontario.

These events will feature the new Romney campaign ads running in respective regions across Ohio.  Elected officials will join Ohio volunteers to discuss how under President Obama, Ohio is not better off. 

A press release issued by the RNC focused on the Sept. 6 job report, saying “Today’s dismal jobs report is more of the same for middle class families who are suffering through the worst economic recovery since the Great Depression.

“After 43 straight months of unemployment above 8 percent, we now know that President Obama just hasn't lived up to his promises and his policies haven't worked," the release said. "If we want a new direction, we need a new president.”

Mandel is scheduled to arrive at the Avon Lake Victory Center at 9 a.m.
