Miss Kitty, described as a small 1-year-old with black fur with some brownish golden spots, hind leg is white, yellow eyes, is missing. The cat, missing since Oct. 16, resembles an Egyptian Mau mix.

The cat was last seen around Glenview near Electric Boulevard near Avon Lake High School.

“She responds to Miss Kitty even though her real name is Shadow,” one of the cat’s owners said by email. “She is a little bit over 1-year-old and is still a small cat.”

The owner said Miss Kitty is spayed and declawed and does not have a collar.

“She has no collar and no outdoor experience,” the owner said. “This is her first time out and we are worried because she has no claws to defend herself.”
