Nominate the Best Dog Salon in Avon or Avon Lake

Let us know the best dog trainer/dog sitter in Avon or Avon Lake so we can put them to a vote and find out which is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

Where can you find the best dog salon in Avon or Avon Lake? Where do you go when your canine needs a cleaning and grooming?

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows to nominate the best spots in Avon or Avon Lake.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

It's easy to look for businesses, just check out the directory. You can search by name or category.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it.

I recommend The Spotted Dog LLC 37140 Colorado Avenue, Avon, OH 44011 440-934-4004. I have tried numerous grooming salons in the area and found that my Silky Terrier got the best service for the value of the money and evening appointments are available by appointment for those who work during the day. Great cut and "Bosco' loves the staff too.

I moved here 3 years ago and was fortunate enough to find Four-Legged Fashions on Lear Rd in Avon Lake. I have a springer spaniel that gets a short-cut and she is one of the few groomers that leaves no clipper marks....he looks like a million bucks when I pick him up! Very reasonable prices, too. Janel absolutely loves dogs and it shows.....she makes every dog feel at ease when they are dropped off. She also gets them in and out real fast....doesn't leave them in a crate for 8 hrs like most groomers do. For an apprehensive, slightly hyper dog like mine...well, it's just a blessing.:)

Carol good point about the 'crate'. The Spotted Dog doesn't crate my little guy either. But I know the big box pet store (which will remain nameless) does have the crate method as you see behind the separate glass door. Welcome to Avon and glad you found a groomer for your Springer Spaniel.

Spoiled & Pampered Dawggy on Avon Belden. They work so hard, do a great job and it is also reasonable!
