That nice, not-cold, not-snowy weather was nice while it lasted.
We're going back to more traditional winter weather starting Friday night.
A winter weather advisory has been issued for Lorain County through 4 p.m. Saturday.
The forecast calls for snow into Saturday, with at least another 2 to 4 inches expected to fall Saturday afternoon. Eastern Lorain County (hello, Avon!) could see higher amounts.
It will also be cold Saturday with a high temperature of 24 degrees, and windy with northwest winds between 20 to 25 miles per hour gusting to 40 mph.
Blowing and drifting snow will make driving hazardous, as roads could be snow-covered and visibility could be less than a quarter-mile.
With winds from the northwest, there will be lake effect snow Saturday afternoon, which is expected to dissipate by nightfall.
There's a winter storm warning for Cuyahoga County until 7 p.m. Saturday.
Snow showers will go into Saturday night and Sunday with another inch of snow forecasted.
If you take any snow pictures, share them in the Neighborhood Gallery!

The 1 weekend I pick to move into my new home we get slammed with a blizzard!!!
I lived in an apartment for many years and never had to worry about shoveling or snow blowing and my first day as a homeowner I get a reality check!! Now I just have to learn how to use the nice big snowblower I just purchased!
