Greg Zilka is in my opinion hands-down best candidate for mayor! He has the experience and knowledge and has acted as our interim mayor in the past. I got to know him when he taught my daughters at ALHS, and he was an excellent teacher as well. Greg Zilka definitely has my vote!

Zuber, then Zilka, a 3rd grader, then Berner. In that order.

There's gonna be one disappointed Zilka clicker when he finds out he can only vote once on the 8th.
And Rob - Jesus I feel bad for you. There's not even anyone clicking on your name for a joke! Don't feel bad - it was your plan that really ruined your chance at getting elected. If you were smart you would go ask the Fire Department if your allowed to get elected again.

according to the patch article income tax revenue for Avon Lake is up 20% from last year. looks like Mayor Zuber has got this city on track.

That has little to do with Zuber, and almost everything to do with personal choice. New cars and restaurants flourish when new homes don't. Nothing against Zuber, but there is very little he has done to loosen everyone's wallets.
What this really says is things are not that bad, and there is lots of pent up demand. We just keep listening to all this rhetoric from both political parties about how bad things are, and people are beginning to close their ears and open their wallets.

FYI, only one vote per IP address is accepted.

Greg Zilka is the obvious choice for mayor of Avon Lake. He is an honorable man, who has served this city for over twenty years. I taught with Greg at ALHS and his students respected him, as do the members of city council. You will not find any skeletons in Greg's closet.

Unless you reload a new IP address in your computer (very easy) and you can vote all night... And Lori your people can then trace the IP and see where (and who) coming from.

"And Lori your people can then trace the IP and see where (and who) coming from." Tracing an IP address does not tell you who or what address it is coming from. That information would come (by court order) from the Internet provider.

I just voted again... and if you want to find the IP address it's easy... Think about it... and I just voted again, by just signing on to another network. This poll is for the people who believe once you hit send and your page view changes its gone and that the end of it, when its all traceable. Get in the real world of technology and quit trying to fool your readers. I just voted again

I just voted for KC again as well. This new WOW internet makes that possible. I did notice that Zilka haz double the votes (thank you Mr. Click-alot). That is how his pay would be as well...DOUBLE...as in Double Dip, should he win. He already has a maxed out pension as a 37 year teacher, now he wants another $85k plus car allowance on top of that. Good guy, but how can he be fiscally responsible when he is collecting 2 full time paychecks. Is he only going to stay for 4 years just to add it to his resume and leave?
Your kidding me
