Richard C. Peterson, 75, of Avon, retired Timm Springs Co. tool-and-die designer and engineer, died Oct. 15.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lora (nee Greene); children, David, Christopher and Lori Leckron; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and sister, Eleanor Schanz.
