Ronald R. "Ron" Schroeder, 66, of Avon Lake, beloved husband of Marilyn S. (nee Simmons) passed away on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012.

He was born on April 20, 1946.

Ron was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

Ron was the loving father of Lisa (Jon) Falkenstein and Neil (Colleen) Schroeder; devoted papaw of Caleb, Grace, Keegan, Kaia, Finn, and Eden; dear brother of William Owen, Michael L. and his late sister Connie Borgman; uncle and friend to many.

A memorial Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Church, 410 Lear Road, Avon Lake at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 17. Friends will be received at the church from 10:15-11 a.m.
