Slate Set For November Elections, 7 File for 3 School Board Seats

Filing with the Board of Elections closed Aug. 10

 

Avon Lake’s candidate field for the Nov. 8 election is set. Aug. 10 was the final day for potential candidates to file with the Lorain County Board of Elections.  

Three of the races are contested. Three candidates have filed for the mayoral race, two for the Ward 1 council seat and seven candidates will run for three Avon Lake School Board seats.

Avon Lake Patch will be posting information on candidates, including profiles, stories, videos and updates at its Election Central page as well as its Avon Lake Election Facebook page.

Here’s the November 2011 slate of candidates:

 

MAYOR

*The winner will serve a four-year term

CITY COUNCIL (Select 1 per ward)
