Walker Road, currently closed in Avon Lake at the railroad crossing between Moore and Miller roads, will open Tuesday, Jan. 15 at approximately 7:30 a.m.
The railway was originally closed last week due to a cracked rail.
The city has posted detours using Lake Road.
A sign near the Miller-Walker roads intersection is notifying drivers that both Dairy Queen and Lenny's Deli can be accessed by driving just past the barricade.

THank Godness its open, one more day without a blizzard woulda been bad!!! McSundae just dosen;t do it! Hope i don't hit any deer on way there tonite-good thing were hunting them FINALLY!!!!
