Here's a roundup of 5 fun things to do this weekend.
We’ve been talking about it for months. Friday, starting at 4 p.m., meet down at Veterans Memorial Park in Avon Lake for the first Avon Lake Wine Festival. Plenty of food, wine and live entertainment will be on hand. In the park’s Lake House, enjoy an art show. *Not a child friendly event.
Help fight cancer at the American Cancer Society’s signature event, the Relay for Life. This year’s relay is at the Westlake Recreation Center. The 10th annual Westlake Relay For Live will feature the luminary ceremony, a reception and ceremony for survivors, movies, treats and fun. See website for details.
Free Rockabilly Concert in the Park
This week’s free concert in Miller Road Park is Sunday, July 15. Enjoy live Rockabilly from the Humbuckers from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Miller Road Park, 33760 Lake Road. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the concert at the Lakefront Gazebo as the sun sets.
