One of the four people arrested for the break-in and burglary of a Glenbrook Court home earlier this month remains in jail.
Stephen Zywotek, 25, of Avon Lake, is in the Cuyahoga County jail as of Tuesday evening on a $20,000 bond. He is also currently under indictment in Lorain County on a charge of drug trafficking.
Chelsea Alurovic, also 25 and from Avon Lake, spent three days in jail before her $20,000 bond was posted on Nov. 19.
Zywotek and Alurovic, both described by Westlake Police as heroin addicts, were arrested after an investigation of the Nov. 12 break-in. They are accused of getting into the home through a side door, and stealing jewelry and prescription drugs.
The pair also confessed to earlier unreported burglaries in Westlake. Police said part of the reason the burglaries were not reported is that Alurovic and Zywotek were tidy, and did not ransack the homes.
Two others were also arrested in connection with the case.
Doran Sutphin, 33, of Cleveland, was released Monday, Nov. 26, after posting $10,000 bond.
Matthew Graff, 24, of Cleveland, was in jail for five days before posting $25,000 bond on Nov. 26.
According to Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas records, Graff pleaded guilty in 2008 to charges of drug possession, drug trafficking and possession of criminal tools. He later ended up having to serve six months at Lorain Correctional Institution in Grafton after violating his probation.
No formal charges have been filed and no court appearances are currently scheduled for any of the suspects.
