Earlier last week, a work crew from Avon Lake Municipal Utilities installed water service to the Community Garden. The water line, with numerous spigots, will provide an easy water supply for gardeners to tend to their plots. (The water is not drinkable, however.)

Utilities’ staff stayed within the $5,000 budget approved by the Board and the Community Garden organization is prepared to pay for the water, as originally agreed.

The Community Garden is located at 237 Belmar Blvd.
