CRS Charity Ball is Premier Avon, Avon Lake Society Event

Community Resource Services (CRS) is hosting its 24th Annual Charity Ball, “Seasons of Caring” presented by Medical Mutual and NRG (formerly GenOn) on Jan. 26 at LaCentre in Westlake. The black-tie optional event is one of Avon and Avon Lake’s premier society events of the year.

Last year the Charity Ball was attended by 330 guests and raised more than $56,000. Funds raised allow CRS to continue its mission of diminishing the effects of poverty in Avon and Avon Lake.

The Charity Ball features cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a sit-down dinner and dessert.  After dinner guests will enjoy dancing to live music by the band Midtown. There are many opportunities to support CRS including live and silent auctions, sideboards and a Wine Pull sponsored by Heidelberg Distributors. 

Another perennial favorite feature of the Charity Ball is the jewelry raffle. Peter & Co. Jewelers has donated an exquisite Hearts On Fire Diamond pendant valued at $6,990.  It is currently on display at Peter & Co.Jewelers in Avon Lake.  Jewelry Raffle tickets are $20 each or 3 for $50.
