Community Corner

Tenebrae at St. Joseph Church

invites people of all faiths to enjoy our annual presentation of Tenebrae -- a celebration of darkness and light -- on Wednesday evening of Holy Week.

At 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, the St. Joseph Senior Choir will be joined by Guest Conductor Rick Fortney and volunteer members of the True North Orchestra and Chorus, as well as community members from other area church choirs, to present Joseph Martin's "Song of the Shadows."

Other participants in this annual event include members of our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) class who will be baptized at the Easter Vigil and Mark "Munch" Bishop, who repeats his annual role as the narrator of the text. This cantata recalls the shadows that surrounded Christ's Passion and Death and helps us all to more fully appreciate His gifts to us.
