Owner Susan Shepard said at approximately 9 p.m. on Dec 20, “Echo” the family’s 3-year-old Welsh Terrier dog slipped out of his collar while out jogging with her husband and ran away while near SR 83 and Walker Road in Avon Lake.  The dog was sighted by the Avon Lake police dispatcher on the way to work near the railroad tracks on SR 83.

“We have had the dog for only seven months, so I am not sure of its ability to find her way home,” Shepard said.
