Second Annual 'Discovering You' for Girls and Women at LCCC on Oct. 12

Channel 5 Danita Harris is luncheon guest speaker

On Oct. 12, the second annual Discovering YOU, a Day of Inspiration and Healing for Women and Girls will be held at Lorain County Community College’s Spitzer Conference Center.

Sponsored by Margeau’s Free to Be Project, a local organization dedicated to helping women and girls feel worthy “just as they are,” this year’s program promises to be a fantastic day filled with presentations by experts in the field of emotional, psychological and spiritual growth. There will be many options to choose from at this unique conference that focuses on you.

In addition to the topics listed below, we will be entertained by “Discovering your Dame,” a theatrical presentation by Marje Rody, and inspired by our luncheon speaker Channel 5 newscaster Danita Harris. Our grand finale will be a huge drum circle, starring YOU.
