Snapshot Avon Lake: Peter Miller House Gets Landmark Plaque

Avon Lake's oldest home receives city's first Historic Landmark Preservation plaque.

Bernie Baka, chairman of the Avon Lake Historical Preservation Commission presents Gerry Paine, executive director of the with the that will be displayed inside the museum.

The house and museum, which received the city’s first Ohio Historical Landmark plaque in 2010, received the city’s at a ceremony at the house June 24.

Historic Landmark Preservation plaques are issued by the Avon Lake Historical Preservation Commission (ALHPC) an Ohio Historical Society sanctioned Certified Local Government (CLG).
