ALHS Chorale, TrueNorth Present Holiday Concerts

We've got two great holiday events starting Thursday.

Looking to put a little holiday spirit into your week? We have two great performances for you to put you into the holiday mood.

ALHS Holiday Concert

The choirs will present a Holiday Concert on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Daniel B. Ross PhD Performing Arts Center Auditorium at Avon Lake High School. The choirs will perform a variety of seasonal favorites under the direction of William Zurkey.

Performing groups include the Merples, Men’s and Women’s Chorus, Da Cantari, Barbieshop, and Chorale. The concert will close with the traditional O Holy Night. Alumni will be invited to the stage to join Chorale.

Admission at the door will be $5 for adults and $1 for students and senior citizens receive complimentary admission.

The proceeds from this concert are used as part of the Choral Music Boosters budget which supports the many activities of the high school choirs.

TrueNorth Christmas Concert

The TrueNorth Chorale and Symphony will be featured in the annual TrueNorth Christmas Concert on Friday, Saturday, Dec. 16 and 17 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, Dec. 18 at 3 pm. This family friendly concert will feature selections from Handel's Messiah, Rutter and Wilberg Christmas favorites, and a special surprise visit from some holiday guests.   

Tickets are $12.50 presale and $15 the day of the concert and can be purchased by calling 440-949-5200 Ext. 221or visiting www.TNCArts.org. TrueNorth Cultural Arts is located at 4530 Colorado Ave. Sheffield Village, Ohio.
