Avon Lake's Merples On "Good Company" Nov. 25

The Merples, Avon Lake’s select members of will appear on WKYC-TV 3’s Good Company Show in Cleveland this Friday, Nov. 25 at 10 a.m. The group will appear throughout the show on Channel 3 and will be featured in a number near the end of the show. The Merples are also invited back to Good Company on Tuesday, Dec. 20 for a live show. This show was recorded on Nov. 15.

The Merples from Avon Lake High School, is a mixed chamber ensemble selected by audition from the Avon Lake Chorale, and directed by Bill Zurkey. They rep-resent some of the finest vocal talent at the high school and have become an “institution” in the school and the community.

The Merples rehearse each morning before school at 7:05 a.m. and after school. They have many performances in December, ranging from concerts, corporate functions, civic and social celebrations and private, home-based parties.
