Dont Miss 'Joe the Coupon Guy' Tonight

You’ve heard all the stories about the savvy shoppers saving thousands of dollars a year using coupons. Here’s your chance to learn coupon-clipping secrets from a pro and it will only cost you a can of food.

Don't miss "Joe the Coupon Guy," featured on a host of national news shows, including CBS, ABC, FOX and NBC News, will be coming to the on Tuesday, July 24, courtesy of

Joe Daugirdas, who has been honing his shopping skills in the Northeast Ohio area for years, will give a 7 p.m. presentation one week from Tuesday. He will share his insight and experience on how to save thousands of dollars each year by using coupons.

Joe will share his methods, which typically saves him 70 to 80 percent for groceries and 90 percent on toiletries.  

Daugirdas has also received money back from some stores, including one trip to Giant Eagle that netted him $7.02 along with $41.35 worth of groceries.

He began teaching the "SavvyShopper" class at Lakeland Community College and has made numerous presentations regarding his shopping skills. Joe has been featured on TV, including CBS, ABC, FOX and NBC News, and has been on several radio shows including NPR, Family Matters with Caroline and Jacquie, and WATM 1100 AM radio. He can be heard on WELW 1330 AM every Wednesday at 7:18 am.

While admission is free and open to the public, CRS is requesting that all attendees bring a toiletry or cleaning item to benefit the client families of CRS.
