EXCEL FOR BEGINNERS
Learn Microsoft Excel 2007 at Avon Branch Library Monday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program. Students will learn to set up a spreadsheet workbook, enter data and compose simple spreadsheet formulas. Some hands-on practice time will be available. Participants need to be comfortable using a mouse to attend. Preregistration is required by calling the Avon Branch Library at 440-934-4743
Through the Lorain Public Library System, patrons have access to various types of media that can be downloaded – and it’s all free. Learn what can be downloaded using library services at eMedia class at the Avon Branch Library Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. eBooks, music, audiobooks and more are all available. The class instructor will demonstrate downloading media onto devices that are currently on the market. Preregistration is required by calling the Avon Branch Library at 440-934-4743.
Tech Help class at Avon Branch Library is a great place to get technology-related questions answered. Tech Help is being offered Saturday, Feb. 23 at 2:30 p.m. The instructor is knowledgeable on computers, tablets, eReaders, the Internet and so on.
