Drum Corps International at Avon Lake Stadium

Come and see the World's Best Drum Corps! Avon Lake High School Instrumental Music is proud to present a one show only appearance of Drum Corps International. This phenomenal show will be Friday, August 3, 2012 at 7PM at the Avon Lake Memorial Stadium at the Avon Lake High School. Eight Drum Corps will perform.

The term "Drum Corps" is short for "Drum and Bugle Corps". The activity is certainly not for drummers only. Most drum corps have a full line of brass instruments, an ensemble in the front of the field playing percussion instruments that cannot march (like marimbas and xylophones), and even dancers that spin flags and any number of other kinds of equipment.
