The Avon Lake Kiwanis Club is hosting its first annual “Back to School” Kids Fest on Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Weiss Field in Avon Lake from 11:00am to 2:00pm. The event is proudly sponsored by Fitzgibbons Arnold & Co. & Grange Insurance. The purpose is to raise donations of school supplies to be given to Avon/Avon Lake Community Resource Services (CRS) while at the same time providing an afternoon of family-oriented fun for children ages two through ten.
The outdoor festival will feature games, activities, crafts, relays, a concert, and much more! Lunch is included, along with special prize giveaways too, like a chance to win Lake Erie Crushers merchandise and tickets!
Admission is a donation of school supplies, which will be passed out to families in Avon and Avon Lake. Guests are encouraged to bring supplies of their choice.
