PAYING FOR YOUR CHILD’S COLLEGE EDUCATION

Come to Lorain Public Library System’s Avon Branch Library to learn how to fund your child’s college education. Discover different savings vehicles, how to build flexibility in your savings plan, and what options you have besides paying your child’s way through college. This informative program takes place Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. Preregistration is required by calling the Avon Branch Library at 440-934-4743. 

SHOW AND TELL WITH THE FRENCH CREEK RUGGERS

Stop in at the Lorain Public Library System’s Avon Branch Library on Wednesday, January 16 to watch talented rug hooking artists. These local artists will be working while you learn about their craft. Many of their beautiful rugs will be on display between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. while they’re working on new creations.
