NOVEMBER BOOK SALE
Don’t miss great bargains on books, DVDs, audiobooks, and more this November at the Avon Branch Library’s Book Sale sponsored by The Friends of the Avon Library. The Book Sale will be open to the public: Friday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There’s also a Preview Book Sale for members of The Friends of the Avon Library, Thursday, Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. New members may join or renew their membership that evening. For more information, call the Avon Branch Library at 440-934-4743.
Adult Afternoon Book Discussion Group
Adults are invited to join the Adult Afternoon Book Discussion Group. Come to the next book discussion, Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 2:30 p.m. at the Lorain Public Library System’s Avon Branch Library. History Comes Alive with Laura Ingalls Wilder
Women in History member Charlene Connors will portray Laura Ingalls Wilder, famed children’s author during a free program, Monday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. at the Lorain Public Library System’s Avon Branch Library. Hear the story of the real life adventures of the pioneering Ingalls family and their Little House on the Prairie. Preregistration is required by calling the Avon Branch Library at 440-934-4743.
