Organ Transplant: Friday Concert Will Help Move Organ From Cleveland to Avon Lake

A concert of sacred, Broadway and patriotic music to open the summer and raise funds for a project to rebuild a pipe organ for St. Joseph Church will be held Friday, May 24.

The concert will feature the St. Joseph Senior Choir, under the direction of Lorene Coughlin, and the Patriots Symphonic Band, under the direction of Harry Pfingsten.

Soloists with the band, also members of the choir, are Brian Walsh and Lorene Coughlin, both of whom will perform that evening. 

The concert will be held in the church at 32929 Lake Road, beginning at 7:30 p.m. There is no price of admission, but a free will offering will be accepted to help us rebuild the organ, which has previously served at St. John the Evangelist Cathedral in Cleveland and at Holy Trinity Parish in Bedford.
